Sell Gold & Sterling Silver To Us By Mail

It is very important to us that each and every valued customer is completely informed about our requirements and policies before selling anything to us. This will assure that their experience with our company will be a pleasant one.

Listed below are terms and conditions for selling gold, silver, platinum and coins to use through the mail. Please take a moment to read over these terms and conditions carefully. At the bottom of this page, is a link to a form(s) that you can print, fill out and mail to us with your order.

Requirements to sell:

Every customer must be at least eighteen (18) years of age in order to sell precious metals to us. As the seller, customer must be the actual owner of any and all property sold or attempted to be sold to us, and every customer must be acting on his or her own behalf and not as the agent or representative of another person. We may, but shall not be obligated or required to, request documentation or other proof of compliance with the requirements contained in this paragraph.

10 oz minimum order for all silver orders sold by mail:

Only silver orders sent in to use through the mail carry a 10 ounce minimum order, due to our $15.00 shipping credit, and other processing costs. However, we are happy to buy amounts less than 10 ounces if you bring it into our Largo store.

There are no minimum orders for selling gold or platinum to us either by mail or in our store. shall not be required to sell a minimum amount of gold, silver or platinum, neither in our store, or by mail.

No silver-plated items:

Also, we do not buy plated silver items of any kind. Plated items frequently come in the form of silver trays, bowls, etc. Sorry, but there is simply no market for it right now. If you are considering shipping an item that you suspect may be plated, please have it checked locally to see if is in fact "plated." Plated items sent to us will only be shipped back to you at your cost. Otherwise they will be disposed of. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PLATED SILVER

Processing Damage:

We cannot be help responsible for damage caused to your gold, silver or platinum order during processing. Some types of jewelry must be broken apart to determine the actual gold, silver or platinum content. In the process, the pieces aesthetic appeal is unfortunately, may be destroyed.

Unless a piece is one that we can resell your items in our store, they will have to be dismantled so that it can be shipped to the refinery.

Damaged Packages:

We reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to reject delivery of any mail, envelope or package which appears to be damaged, opened, or tampered with and any such mail, envelope or package will be returned by the Post Office to the customer. We shall have no liability to any customer for any such attempted delivery or return of any such items.

Package Loss:

We cannot be held responsible for parcels that become lost in transit to our store. In the event of a loss, the customer agrees to contact the shipping carrier to resolve this matter, and not hold us responsible. To prevent such loss, we recommend sending packages with "Delivery Confirmation" service through the US Post Office, or send valuable packages by registered mail.

Shipping Methods And Credit:

Each customer is free to ship gold goods to us by any method or shipping carrier he or she chooses. We will issue a shipping credit, one per customer, at the time of processing to assist customer with shipping expense. Shipping credit per customer shall be dispersed as needed, at discretion of our company, and shall not exceed $15.00 US dollars. If inbound shipping for customer's package is less than $15.00 US dollars, customer shall not receive the difference between the $15.00 shipping credit, and customers actual shipping fee as a credit to his or her order. Any package mailed to us containing less than 10 ounces of silver shall not be eligible for the $15.00 shipping credit, thus causing offer to become null and void.

Hold Period For In-Store Sales:

We are required, by law, to hold items purchased by walk in customers for a period of 15 days.

No Hold For Sales By Mail:

We are not required by law, to hold items purchased via the internet (by mail). Due to the volatility of the precious metals markets, we retain the right to immediately resell items purchased via the internet (by mail) as needed to protect itself from an unforeseen drop in gold market prices.

Right Of Refusal:

We retain the right to refuse any item that it feels may be recently stolen, or suspicious. We retain the right to refuse service to any customer that it feels is overly suspicious, or overly "challenging" to work with. We retain the right to refuse to buy any precious metal if it considers the market conditions overly unstable, falling, or expected to fall.

Legal Requirements For In-Store Sales:

All in store customers by law must provide valid picture identification, and agree to be fingerprinted. We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer unwilling to fulfill these legal requirements.

In-Store Surveillance:

Walk-in customers understand that surveillance cameras are in use in our store. Customer understands that they will be photographed for obvious security reasons while inside the premises of our store.

Method of Payment:

All payments to customers, either walk-in or through the mail shall receive payment by company check, and not cash. In store customers shall receive payment by check at time of purchase. Customers selling precious metals by mail shall be mailed payment immediately upon processing their order.

Limitation of Liability:

This limitation of liability shall be binding on each and every customer and any third party, including, but not limited to, the customer and the customer�s successors, assigns, insurance carriers and any other individual or entity asserting any right or claim relating to customer�s transaction with us. Our company Jewelers shall not be liable to anyone for any damages, including but not limited to, incidental, consequential, punitive, loss of profit or opportunity, other than as set forth herein above. By submitting the item for sale, customer explicitly and expressly accepts this limitation of liability.

Verbal Offers:

Any customer or prospective seller may request our company to provide a telephone or e-mail quote for his or her items after such items have arrived at our store. Verbal offers may, at the discretion of our company, be recorded. Upon a verbal acceptance by the customer of the telephone or e-mail quote, payment will be issued by our company within twenty four (24) hours of such acceptance.
